My first big 1953 Topps Baseball addition.

Been slowly working on a 1953 Topps set over the last 8 months and the time was right to pick up my first major card of the set, paid about average of the current VCP, but I figure that's probably down from the past few years and well below all of the other BIN's in the same grade.

Next up...Jackie Robinson and Mickey Mantle.

Having so much fun with this!

That's a nice set to be working on!
I'm still a 55 topps fan but the 53 are not bad at all ...I'd like to do the set at some point.

Wow! That's a great looking PSA 5. Congrats, as your patience has paid off! If you take your time and are picky in the cards you bid on, you can find really nice cards for the grade. Here's a PSA 3 I picked up in the last year. Not as nice as yours, but still really nice for a 3!

The centering is spot on, what actually qualified that card as a "3"?

I looked for awhile but got impatient waiting for a 50/50 centered version.
