<< <i>I LOVE IT! >>
Same here. He can "fake retire" all he wants as far as I am concerned.
I'm sure he feels slighted because of last year's debacle.
edit: Some words I failed to add

Here ya go bud. Just in case you forgot what you said last year:
<< <i>went 10-5 with no RB and a hurt QB...what is it going to be like with a HOF QB and a loaded backfield?
16-0?

<< <i>The Bucs are worse off than Minnesota , you have no room to talk on the status of ANY teams QB when yours in as bad as ANY teams. >>
Who needs a QB when you have a pair of horses running it and two lights out receivers? Nevermind you guys wouldn't know about them.

My Dad, rest his soul, tore his bicep in HALF on a motorcycle wreck when he was in college. He played catcher in college, had one HELL of an arm, even when he was in his 40's. It is not really an issue, you can believe me or not.
When he flexed his bicep it looked freaky, I wish I would have taken a picture of it! Looked like popeye!
I should add that he did have to take time off for it to heal...
<< <i>He really needs to stay at home. Will this set a precedent for other players to retire, force teams to release them and then return? >>
I heard that if the Jets traded Favre to a NFC North team, they would give up like three 1st round picks (or something like that).
And speaking of, did GB get anything from the Jets? I mean, other than clearing Favre's salary off their cap...
The concept is really simple, if a team wants him to play, and he wants to play, there is no issue...move on.
He is no longer a top QB, but the Vikes feel he is better than the garbage they have, so it makes sense for them.
He was playing at a good clip last year until the injury shot his season, so if he is healthy he could be more than serviceable.
