Same here. He can "fake retire" all he wants as far as I am concerned.

I have nothing against the Packers organization, but I do love how he is sticking it to them.

I'm sure he feels slighted because of last year's debacle.

If I was the Packers I would thank the Vikes, the extra interceptions will do well to pad their defensive stats! Whats wrong Minny, Tavaris not throw enough
    to the other team?

<< <i>went 10-5 with no RB and a hurt QB...what is it going to be like with a HOF QB and a loaded backfield?

    16-0?

I've been a defender of Favre for the most part, but I can no longer do so, he's lost all credibility now, IMO...

I heard if Minny gets Favre then Randy Cunningham wants in too.
  • The Bucs are worse off than Minnesota , you have no room to talk on the status of ANY teams QB when yours in as bad as ANY teams.

Who needs a QB when you have a pair of horses running it and two lights out receivers? Nevermind you guys wouldn't know about them.

Yeah, those horses and receivers really did a fine job down the stretch last season...the Raiders game was especially impressive, LOL...

  • Yeah I wish Minnesota would get a good Running back lol. As far as WR, Berrian is very good, Harvin cant hurt, as long as he doesnt pull a Troy Williamson...

  • One more thing on the Brett Favre torn bicep injury.
My Dad, rest his soul, tore his bicep in HALF on a motorcycle wreck when he was in college. He played catcher in college, had one HELL of an arm, even when he was in his 40's. It is not really an issue, you can believe me or not.
When he flexed his bicep it looked freaky, I wish I would have taken a picture of it! Looked like popeye!

I should add that he did have to take time off for it to heal...

He really needs to stay at home. Will this set a precedent for other players to retire, force teams to release them and then return?

I heard that if the Jets traded Favre to a NFC North team, they would give up like three 1st round picks (or something like that).

And speaking of, did GB get anything from the Jets? I mean, other than clearing Favre's salary off their cap...
So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts

Bump, because we all know that Mr. Favre would want that. Now get your ass to Vikes minicamp!!
  • It amazes me why people continue to get all up in arms and feel hatred towards Favre because he may play again.

The concept is really simple, if a team wants him to play, and he wants to play, there is no issue...move on.

He is no longer a top QB, but the Vikes feel he is better than the garbage they have, so it makes sense for them.

He was playing at a good clip last year until the injury shot his season, so if he is healthy he could be more than serviceable.

  • This would be the #1 story in sports history if he was able to bring us to the promise land... Heck even if he beats GB both games, that alone would be awesome!

  • Ok maybe that was a stretch, but it would be my #1, bumping Kirbys game 7 down my list.

Sorry Vikings fans. Maybe you can get Gus Frerotte out of retirement again.
