Fake 2003 Playoff Portraits Baseball Promo/Samples?

Is one of these a fake? Or are they both? I've seen others that have the "Sample" on the back, but not with the "Promo", and the Promo looks pretty shady. Does anyone have a picture of the back of a normal card? Is there anything in the spaces where the Sample/Promo is on these cards?

SAMPLE backs were distributed in Beckett magazines. I'd guess that PROMO cards were given to dealers and distributors (and probably others).

There were Donruss cards given away at a show in Atlantic city in '03 I think.

Seems logical. Has anyone every seen another one marked as "Promo"?

I used to have a Beckett subscription when they started those, I remember them all saying Sample and would sometimes get a different colored font, representing their print run and I think later on I saw different sized fonts but never saw promo on them.

As stated above, the SAMPLE cards are Beckett Mag samples. I have quite a few from baseball. Some of the samples came in different colors like emerald and gold that were supposed to be rare and an attempt by Beckett to sell more magazines.
