Modern Yankee Players Auto Help

I was downtown in my small town and stopped by a coin shop because it had pennants in the window and was chatting briefly with the owner. He had a small (meaning 20 cards or less and some of it was stuff like Milestones and Moments cards), but he did have a 1933 Jack Dempsey SK SGC 50 and a 1952 Andy Pafko PSA 4. He also had a small stack of auto'd cards that he "said" he got from some dude that works for the A's. I picked up these two for $30 and figured it was worth the effort:

I have the receipt and have other business with him and am sure I can give them back, but wanted an opinion. What do you all think? He also had an Ichiro auto card for $60 (and a Mattingly that I didn't even ask the price on) that I passed on. I know Ichiro doesn't sign all that much, but, tack on $60 to $30 on a gamble and it starts to add up.

If the opinion is these might be real, what does PSA charge to authenticate and slab?

Thanks for the help and opinions,

  • The Jeter/ARod looks pretty fake to me.That card shows up on Ebay all the time with forged autographs.I am not sure about the Wang.He is a common signer through the mail.

I really don't have an opinion on the Wang, but the A-Rod/Jeter card is a joke (which leads me to believe so is the Wang)

I have never seen Jeter sign his jersey # nor have I seen his auto look like that, even though I will admit the space to sign is limited so the autos
may look a little different, but all three of those look fake.
