For 1989fleerbillyripkencollector

I found this magazine with the Billy Ripken card on the cover and I just wanted to make sure you knew about it (you probably did). I found it while going through some boxes. It has a list of all or most of the errors and varaitions from 1989. Also is an ad selling the Ripken........

Called Forman years back too. Without looking at my notes, I remember talking to his wife who was real nice. Wish I kept better notes in the beginning. Saw his collection of FF he sold, and that's where I saw the White Box for the 1st time. I think Foreman has since passed away. If so, RIP.
BTW--Mike Greenwell cards were huge I think in the summer of '88--cards were selling for like 30 a pop, not to mention Ellis Burks.

<< <i> What is eBay's policy on how to advertise that card? "Rick" face is the closest you can get? I saw one guy advertise it as "Ripken and a very naughty word" or something absurd like that...

I'm unaware of what's allowed. I've used/seen F**K Face. I've never had a problem. I think according to ebay's TOS, pics of the FF knob could land it in the mature audiences catagory. My collecting interests walk a fine line. Once a kid asked for my opinion, to be used for a paper she was writing for school on censorship. Too lax or too strict. To sum up my response, lax. But thankfully, I can display my collection without problems.
