FS here: The Ike Eisenhower Dollar Key Date! Pcgs ms66 1976-p Type 1.

The pop in the pop report is listed as 22/0 but at least 3 of those are misdesignated type 2's. The total pop of 72-p is now 25 (counting all three types) so 76-p Type 1 is actually the toughest date in the set in ms66. In fact, it's arguably the toughest regular issue coin of any denomination since the 32-d quarter to find in ms66! (34-s Peace Dollars and 49-d halves are the other 2 candidates). Also, most 76-p Type 1's are very low end for the grade. This one is rock solid. I do have a photo but it's lousy and it'd be best to see it for yourself in hand (I always offer a full return privilege). It is a very lightly toned coin that is not hazy and not as gray as the photo makes it look. It would fit in fine with an untoned set. The tone tinges slightly golden near the rims. The camera caught that mark on the portrait pretty well but in person it's very small and not noticeable. (And to be fair, as with any ms66 coin, there's other small marks that the camera didn't catch.) The luster has nice flash to it and is not drab as this date usually is. I've seen 3 others in person and liked this one the best.

The price is $4950 delivered. This coin is rarely offered for sale! I only know of 2 others for sale in the last three years, one was $6250 (which will be my new one once I finish paying it off!) and the other, which was one of the ones I didn't like as much as mine (way more marks), was priced at $5500. Please send me a pm or an e-mail at haletj@gmail.com if you're interested or have any questions. Thank you!
