question on submitting coins (colonial) ?

If you submit say a 1787 Connecticut penny but not sure of the variety ? , will PCGS or NGC grade it and give the proper variety on the slab?

2. Which company do you think is the best for colonials?

Thanks for the help.

    Not always.

If you can post a picture here I'll tell you what variety it is.

PCGS tends to grade more conservatively, and prices realized in auctions tend to be much stronger, on average, for PCGS coins vs NGC coins in the same numerical holder - though there are exceptions.

    I would recommend PCGS.

Here are some scans , have not mastered the digital camera yet. Also Had to lighten the pics a little to show more detail as all are dark chocolate.
