You can figure wholesale value as follows:
Uncirculated only: NYMEX spot + ~$1.75 X .720 X Face Value.
Circulated only : NYMEX spot + ~$1.75 X .715 X Face Value
Premiums over melt value vary by denomination for larger amounts of Face Value, i.e. Walkers are always in greater demand than Franklins, Barber and Standing Liberty are always in greater demand than Washingtons, etc.

Go to http://www.bulliondirect.com and there is a "nucleo exchange." It's bid & ask from the general public. If you buy or sell there you pay 1% commission. I have bought from them in the past so I can vouch that they are legit, but you can get a decent idea of buy/sell prices on bullion.

Right now:

generic 1 oz AGE - bid $927.50 ask $985.00
generic 1 oz ASE - bid $15.33 ask $15.87
$100 face 90% - bid $1030.00 ask $1075.00
