Put your grading skills to work on this 1857 flying eagle cent. " GRADE REVEALED"

This coin has been graded by NGC, what grade do you think it was assigned? A new pick-up!!

Here's the grade and I think ngc got this one right on. But the variety is what I was really after, in a higher grade it would have cost me a little more $. I also like the looks of this coin it ,has more luster that is shown in my crapy pictures. Thanks to all for your comments and your grades image

au58 with one of the clashed dies with the half dollar?????? beautifull reverse clashing

it's tough to grade it 58 but the reverse screams it

A lot going on with the obverse. I'm going to agree with Teddy, AU58.

    Ms-61 or MS-62 Snow-8 Reverse Clash w/Seated Liberty Quarter

Based on the photo only, possibly messed with and retoned.

It's the variety that has the clash with the quarter dollar. S-8, I think.........

i am having a hard time determining if there is rub or not.
since i cannot see anything really obvious i will go with low ms.

    hard to say....63

I'm going to say that weakness is a result of the clash. My guess is MS-63

    The spots bother me.

    I'd go 63?

MS63RB if the color is legit - may be easier to tell in hand.

I've got to admit, my first thought was "I don't like the spots". Then I thought that, with no visible rub, the spots would limit it to 62.

Then I saw the clash, and I just thought, "cool".

Somebody left an 1857 seated liberty quarter die in the press and clashed it with a 1857 flying eagle cent. This is a Snow -8 (MAD)-002. 126- 250 pieces are known in this die variety, how many of those are ms ? I don't know.
