US Mint Order Tracking Tool... Back to the Past??

After the issues related to order s being cancelled during the UHR fiasco, I thought the mint change the order tracking tool so that you were required to log into your account in order to track an order. I just went on the US Mint website to check the status of an order and did not have to log into my account. The usual screen asking for the order # and last name appeared. Has something changed again???
