I bought one and some jumbo packs and will argue that mine might be even worse than yours! LOL If you can pick up a few hobby packs,
with the reduced pack count pulling an auto is as easy as 1:18!

How does Clayton Kershaw qualify as Sport Royalty?
  • ajwajw Posts: 2,279 ✭✭✭
Are the autographs on-card, or stickers?

From what I've seen, these cards look really, really nice. I'm not much of a case buster, but if I were, I'd be quite interested in this one...
  • joestalinjoestalin Posts: 12,473 ✭✭
They are on card and beautiful, easily the nicest UD puts out. At one per case they are tough to pull, but there are ALOT of great names on the
list and the Tiger Woods will net you easily 4 figures!

Wow that is quite the auto list. I always say I am not going to get into this set because its just to hard to complete but I see a hobby box or two in my future.

Think I just did pretty well picking this lot up.

I can't believe someone pulled a Tiger already, even with the bad economy that is a 4 digit pull.

    Kevin
  • BunchOBullBunchOBull Posts: 6,188 ✭✭✭
I can't imagine a pull like that. Lucky fella.

Looks pretty well centered, unlike most of the cards I have pulled so far from Goudey this year.

    Is there only one?
  • zep33zep33 Posts: 6,897 ✭✭✭
no, and this year there are actually some of them inscribed

    Tiger autos
  • joestalinjoestalin Posts: 12,473 ✭✭
Gotta love upper deck, the guy who pulled the Tiger was sitting on a gold mine yesterday and in one day UD not only indicates that there are more Tiger's out
there than last year, but also that there are two premium Tiger's signed with inscriptions!

Now if someone was going to spend thousands on a Tiger auto do you think they are going to bite at this one? LOL

    Amazing

I'll be on the lookout for the inscribed version for sure. thanks for the info

Holy Cow, some bonehead just sold one of the Tiger's for 900 bucks!! You have to be kidding me. Why can't the people pulling the huge cards have more
    brains?

why does he need "brains" when he chose a price he was happy to get for it? i am also sure he pulled it from a pack or a box meaning he made well over a $800 profit.

Oh yeah that makes sense, why get 2 grand for it when you only need 900 bucks! Im sure he makes a profit on every box he opens. To think I always thought
the idea of selling something was to make as much as you could!

    Great!! There's more than one.

I'm sure the retail blaster I bought has one in it then. image

Isn't anyone gonna rip any cards in this thread or do I have to buy 3 boxes to get this going?

  • joestalinjoestalin Posts: 12,473 ✭✭
Ripped 3 today. Autos of Gamel, Gaylord Perry and Edwin Encarnacion. Also mini parallels of Kinsler and Carlton Fish both numbered to 21.

I like the look of the Heads Up cards. (Is that what they're called...like the Jeter directly above?)

Are those SPs and expensive? Anyone have a checklist for that subset?

    Keep the scans coming, guys!

  • I found 2 boxes of hobby today, hope to get something good, havnt seen any blasters around these parts yetimage

Nice looking Tiger!!! i like the way the put goudey on the bottom instead of the ken griffey and derek jeter, it looks cleaner that way , to me anyways
  • The centering on these are horrible. Compared to last year they are awfully oc, all i got was 2 boxes of garbage, seems like all the good cards i pulled were oc image
I got a justin masterson auto, ill have to see what is sp in these from the website in a minute

So is the sps 201-to 260? Thats what im seeing on the site?
i got a 4 in 1 of lee/sizemore/icharo/hernandez 11/21 are the black ones almost rounded like corners, or is it just my card?its not dinged?
  • Trying to figure out how to post a picture hereimage
  • How hard would this set be to put together Base + SP's. Is it comparable to Heritage? Easier? Harder? Is there an SP in every pack?

Just wondering, I'm thinking of trying to put this together. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks
