3 Coin Selling TV shows at the same time!

I was just flipping through channels (I don't watch much TV) and found 3 different shows all selling coins at the same time! Does this say anything about the coin market? At the moment I saw them two of the shows were selling proof sets the other was selling Log Cabin Lincolns.

Really does make one more thankful that there are remotes, keep on flipping.

Remotes with mute buttons for the TV I do watch, mostly news and sports.

It is health that is real wealth, not pieces of gold and silver. Gandhi.

I collect all 20th century series except gold including those series that ended there.
  • I guess there are enough people buying proof sets at inflated prices to pay the salaries of 3 TV pitchmen and also to make a profit. It must cost a bunch to monopolize a cable channel for an hour. The camera crew, phone operators (who are waiting right now!) and all overhead must cost a pretty penny.

It surprised me that they were all operating at the same exact time. If even a small percentage of the rubes who fall for the pitch wise up and become serious collectors wouldn't that create a huge increase in demand?

There are usually 3 shows on at the same time where I live about every night. Jimmy (with the new sidekick girl), the two hillbillies, and the guy (with a manicure) that repeats every single word he says at least three times, at least three times. The seller with a compulsive need to repeat himself was selling 100oz silver bars last night. Jimmy was selling Proof Kennedy's for $27 a pop talking about how great of a deal that was, and the hillbillies were selling proof sets. I usually see what those guys are selling after American Experience is over on PBS. I haven't seen a reasonable price on anything on any of those shows. The hillbilly bunch has the most reasonable prices of them all though I think.
