1788: Maryland became the seventh state to ratify the U.S. Constitution.
1986: The Soviet Union acknowledges there has been an accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant in the Ukraine.
1789: Mutiny on the Bounty, Captain William Bligh and 18 sailors are set adrift and the rebel crew returns to Tahiti briefly and then sets sail for Pitcairn Island.

Births:
1758: James Monroe, the fifth president of the United States
1916: Ferruccio Lamborghini, Italian automobile manufacturer

Death:
1936: King Fuad I of EgypT, father of Farouk I(*Think 1933)

My Challenge to you:

Examples:

    sorry but just had to add...

    when i think of "428" i think of my ol 1966 ford galaxie xl500 2 door that had the 428 as it's stock motor

    the original owner ordered it loaded to bear in options....i miss that ride
    everything in life is but merely on loan to us by our appreciation....lose your appreciation and see
