no way, no how is it real. That is several times below wholesale. You know that price people will pay sight unseen for classic PCGS stuff. If you want that I will also let you have a 1874 cc trade PCGS in MS63 for $900. Not even stupid, blind grandmothers who need money for rent wound let it go for that price. Are you kidding, You could walk in to the biggest a-hole dealer, the kind that this board spend hours talking about a day and he/she would give you more money than that for that coin. Can I make it any clearer? Where are people like you when I sell my stuff?
Now, just maybe the seller will take a cashier's check... Yeah, and maybe you accidentally make it for $1600... Yeah... And tell him to take it to the bank and keep an extra hundred bucks for his trouble, just send you $900 and the coin... Yeah... That should work out just fine.
I said this in a thread yesterday...I would NEVER deal with anyone on Craigslist unless they were buying from me with a Postal money order that I cashed before mailing.

R.I.P. Bear
Set up a meet and pay face to face upon satisfactory inspection.
<< <i>$600.00 for a 1799 $1 PCGS VF-30 is not a reasonable price. It is a steal IF the coin is legit. >>
The coin is probably legit.
Question is -- Does the seller have the coin, or could it be stolen, or ?

My guess is the photo was stolen from a dealer website or e-bay.
