Just got this, from Scott's unsuccessful presidential campaign against Pierce.
These things are fun, relatively cheap, and I get a "fix" between toned commem acquisitions!

I love the eagle design on the reverse!
Many merchant cards as well as other tokens have the eagle for the reverse and
can't seem to stop collecting them
I don't have that many political tokens/ medals but a member here has some great and rather rare ones
and he does post them from time to time.
Lets see more!

If Scott had only been 30 years younger, and 150 pounds lighter in 1861.....
But he was a great man in his day, an entire generation of boys grew up with the first name Winfield and the second name Scott. Not many people can claim to be that influential to the general population. During my long career as a civil war reenactment photographer I longed to stike an image of a reenactor doing ol fuss and feathers....but sadly no one ever done that impression. Too bad.
<< <i>is it the camera distorting the pic or is it not perfectly round? >>
It's the slab, from that "other" company...
