Bust Half Variety Question, 1829/7

Walkerguy21DWalkerguy21D Posts: 11,239 ✭✭✭✭✭
Hello - I just acquired a CBH, 1829/7. Briefly researching Heritage showed there is an O-101 and an O-102 variety for this.
Are there any other Overton varieties for this coin, and how scarce (R-rating) are they?

Thanks for your help!

There are only the 2 die marriages for the 29/7. Both share the same obverse die. The 102 is a little scarcer than the 101, but both are fairly easily found. As for 1829's in general there are 20 different die combinations out of which only the 106 (R-5minus) is tough and 120 (R-8) is basically undoable.
Just because I'm old doesn't mean I don't love to look at a pretty bust.

Steve Herrman mentions in his AMBPR, that the 102 has an identified later die state, the 102a.
On the 102a There is a die crack through the 9 up to the clasp.
Steve call that dies state an R5??, as the 102 is an R2
