Vintage Set & Pack Boxes Empty

Is there anyway to ascertain a "book" price for these? Obviously you could run an eBay completed listings search (and you might find these two that I just bought from there...) but other than that, what kind of value do you think these hold? I know Beckett has wrapper prices but nothing for boxes/set packs, etc. What do you all think? Are these worth anything or is it completely random, finding the right buyer who finds value in them???
BTW-the one in front is 59 baseball wax pack box and the back one is some kind of vending/set box for 74 Topps baseball...

Prices are all over, and depend on the condition and scarcity. Best bet is to look up realized prices from previous catalog auctions. I've got a few sitting on my desk right now I"m trying to gauge value on ('70 Topps, and '54 Topps penny packs, if anyone has a range) and it's a tough call. The market is thinly traded, so it often depends on the underbidder.

<< <i>Can you explain meaning of "underbidder" >>
It takes two bidders to run the price up. So the underbidder is what price he stops bidding.
