Best Auction House to Consign Cards to?????

I was thinking of consigning some cards to one of the major auctions houses (Memory Lane, Goodwin & Co come to mind).....has anyone had positive experiences at either of those places? I have heard horror stories (American Memorabilia comes to mind), and would go ballistic if I got shafted by one of those guys (like they dont make enough money already!)....opinions please?

Depending on what you were looking to consign, I'd say Huggins and Scott, Hunt, or REA.

    Yup, depends on the card(s)

Big VINTAGE stuff..... I have always liked REA....... and even more nowadays
(have you seen REA's newest catalog, it must have cost them $20+ ea. to print, and they sent them out free)

    High dollar cards (between $500-$2,000)

For that price range, I'd say Huggins and Scott. They'll give your items more attention.

If you're talking about cards whose value is highly registry-dependent (e.g., '50s PSA 9s), MintState and Andy Madec are also reasonable possibilities.
