On a positive note, this is an improvement over the 1962 Mets.

Would the Mets have been better off staying and playing at Shea?

Would the Mets have been better off moving to California just like the Brooklyn Dodgers and New York Giants baseball teams before them?

They would have been better off not running into the Cardinals the last three games! image

The 2008 Rays and Phillies did not spend September and October 2007 & 2008 choking on thin air.

The Phillies almost always start the season slow, and after WINNING THE WORLD SERIES there can be complancency when the new season begins for a variety of reasons.

The Mets on the otherhand were expected to get out of the gate quickly with their gang of mercenaries, before folding later in the season like mercenaries tend to do. Looks like your Mercenary Mets may not get a chance to choke like they've done before, because they may be out of the pennant race by the start of September. Ha! Ha!

May 11, 1972: Traded by the San Francisco Giants to the New York Mets for Charlie Williams and $50,000.

Yeah you know what you are talking about, I suggest you stick with gambling and Football.

Your baseball knowledge is sorely lacking.
