It looks very nice, personally I think it would be a 65, but the TPG's have been really tough lately and may give it a 64 because of the marks on the lower reverse. I sent in some farthings a while back, four of which I knew were a lock for 65, and all came back 64. It's certainly worth 65 money though.
Yes it graded. It is an old ANACS slab as pf64bn. I don't have it in hand yet so I don't know it the marks on the reverse are as bad or worse than the pics. If I was to cross to PCGS should I send it in still in the slab or crack it out first? Thanks, Richard
Very nice. I wouldn't crack it out if it were mine, I have submitted several coins in small Anacs holders lately and practically all crossed with a few that got a one point higher grade by PCGS. It also looks worth a TrueView shot that would capture its toning beautifully.
Have the coin in hand now. What looked like scuffs on the reverse through the date and NN are actually die cracks. So, it is better than I was hoping. Those marks made me nervous. Have you ever seen these die cracks on a coin like this? Any idea on value? Richard
I haven't checked it in Peck but assuming it's a currency issue proof NEN has a 65 for $525, usually at auction I would assume they would be aroun $300-350 or so.

Sorry I don't know much about crossing coins from ANACS to PCGS, but my gut feeling is it should cross without cracking it out.

Has that coin been oiled? It looks like it has thin-film interference patterns on it. Even if it has been, I think it looks lovely.
Terrific look
