Stephen A. Smith finished at ESPN

His 6 year contract has run out and ESPN decided they didn't want him back.

Many will cheer his leaving I am sure.

His personality rubbed a lot of people the wrong way but overall I didn't think he was too horrible.

I had to turn the volume down on my TV when he was on. I did not like listening to his screaming commentary.

Guess I am in the minority, but I liked him as an NBA analyst (yes, his own show did stink). I like Charles Barkley in that role as well. Colorful personalities, but they know the game.

The tragedy is there may not have been a more enthusiastic guy following his sports, but he allowed his distorted view of everything being linked to racism. Everything that was a problem he seemingly linked to race. His show was bad, and there's a reason he was known as 'Screamin' A. Smith.

He won't be unemployed long...am sure someone else will pick him up.

I mostly disliked him, however he frequently had good inside NBA information and insight. I'd give him a 6 out of 10.

The thread is fine. What they didn't like was otwcards political commentary which was the reason for his banning.

I don't know how many times people have to be told on these forums, NO politics!

Just for a week.

Scott (OTW) is actually a really cool guy. He knows a heck of alot about sports cards and the hobby, and I have alot of respect for that.
