Complete 1995 Score Platinum set
You guys remember last August how I got a complete 1995 Score Platinum set? Well, it looks like I don't have the only complete set in existance after all.
But still, this is a drop dead gorgeous set and I think it's only fair to let you guys in on this set that's now for sale. Unlike my set, this set DOES have the Certificate of Authenticity cards and the original cases. I know there was one guy who said he would've paid $100 for the set, well, here's your chance.
Remember, less than 4950 of each card exist in platinum form and it is a beautiful set. I promise you will not be disappointed.

Here are a few examples from my collection:
I bought a Rangers team set to get these, and I'm pretty sure I have the others in a box somewhere. Jose Canseco was the other main player in the team set, I think.

<< <i>This is sick, I wouldn't be interested in the set if it wasn't posted here. I'm contemplating paying $2 per team set................. >>
I think that's how much you originally did have to pay per team set redemption along with the Gold Rush cards and the redemption card (which was good for up to four team sets).

<< <i>Estil convinced me to set my bid up from $200 to $250. I'm glad he did. I've now hit official buying spree status. >>
This looks like a fun bet, and in fact I almost put in a gong bid just for the hell of it. Just about every major star is pop 0 in PSA 10; if the set's well centered it should be a gold mine.

Nice purchase, Lee. I'll ask him to throw in a 1981 Topps Joe Pettini card for you if he has one laying around.

Congratulations on getting this set! Believe me, you will not be disappointed. Will you also put your set in binder/pages like mine?

If I was a betting man, my money would be on a "divide and sell" play. With all those zero pop 10's in the set, this could be a goldmine, as was stated earlier in the thread.
The Frank sells for $1.00 at auction...$2.00 on an exceptional day...the value is in the set as a while IMO.
Standard Catalog also mentions a production of 4950 per team set.
Imagine how hard it was pre-internet to get all those gold cards together much less make complete team sets and redeem them.
All bow before Ebay.
Wonder what the multiplier on these say from a 1996 Beckett was? I bet at least 20x.

And what's the Standard Cat. for a mint '86 Ryan, Brett, Schmidt or Sandberg? Find me as many mint raw copies as you can and I promise you I'll pay 2x high book for each. It'll be a great deal for both of us.
