Where's he at?
I think he's done, because it wouldn't take much to drop his career batting average below .300
Thoughts?

Here is all the info I could find on Frank Thomas as of late.

Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports talked to free agent DH frank thomas, who is "a little shocked" at the lack of interest.
Thomas says he's in excellent shape and doesn't intend to retire. He believes he can hit 35-40 home runs this year
and doesn't want a part-time role. Two unknown teams have at least expressed interest.

Free agent DH frank thomas is still waiting for an offer. He intends to delay a decision about retirement until at least the All-Star break.
One of those two team were probable the Mariners before they signed Griffey don't know who the other team could be.
Good luck Frank hope you get picked up.

<< <i>I would like the White Sox to sign him when the rosters expand in September. Get him a couple of at bats, have Frank Thomas day and retire his number and then let him retire.

That will never happen.
I think he can still play, but only as a DH. That might limit his choice of teams.
Even if he doesn't play, he is one of the all-time greatest first baseman. First ballot HOFer.

Not sure what you mean but if you think he stayed away because he did not want his average to slip under 300.
I think it is possible but am not sure what the real reason was/is.

Please, stay where you are at. Me Beloved Angels have a knack of picking up these old farts for some reason. Just stay away and go into the Hall.
To be honest, no direction, but...
