Seriously, those are great!

I sometimes struggle with lighting and lighting angles but I believe lighting can make a huge difference.
I would also like to upgrade to a DSLR at some point.
I don't think that anybody has dial up anymore, it costs a fortune compared to DSL or cable among others.

Different lighting, different angles.... oh, and Mark Goodman took the original pic you linked to.

Thank you for posting pictures and your experiences wirth the Panasonic Lumix G1. I have a point and shoot that I want to upgrade in the future and your posts are helpful!
BTW, I'm just curious, which pictures more closely match the colors of the 2.5 batzen in hand? Your's or Mark's? I assume the different light sources used would be the biggest factor in the differences.
