You don't know anything about David Webb either, do ya?
Ive read him, nothing extraordinary.
To paraphrase Shania Twain, Credentials dont impress me much. Been around long enough to see through folk who use "credentials" to pass mal and misinformation. And seen many a good folk fall prey or victim, or become emotionally invested to those who "have credentials".
One of my trolls is obsessed with "credentials". Sad.
Im just an old hillbilly redneck who prefers to rely on his own experience and knowledge, free of opinion of others.
.
When @RedneckHB disputes the credentials of a well-known person, while having no credentials of his own, that is a type of hypocrisy that @RedneckHB himself frequently decries on this forum. That makes it doubly hypocritical.
Claims of being "just an old hillbilly redneck" do not jive with the posturing on a pompus make-believe throne, with delusions of being Lord over this forum.
.
I didnt dispute anyone's credentials. No dispute at all. I did express apathy though.
When jmski states he relies on someones has credentials he is admitting he knows little and prefers others to formulate an opinion for himself. If jmski thinks his credentialed person is well-known, then jmski lives in a av very small and closed world. Yet he thinks his world is everyone's world. Maybe that's hypocritical.
I am not Lord over this forum, but I am over my own domain. I think you confuse pompas with confidence. Thats understandable. No one "Lord's" their opinion over me. You should try it sometime.
So now stop with all the personal attacks jmski cuz im just gonna give it back. You guys start this nonsense and then whine when its given back. That IS hypocritical.
.
"kookiness", as you called it, is a dispute of the status of a commentator. And, as, such it is a dispute of their credentials.
.
Not an attack on anyone's "credentials". I simply said credentials do not exempt kookiness. No mention of anyone, or their "credentials".
No one "Lord's" their opinion over me. You should try it sometime.
Well, I certainly have not been valuing your opinion very highly.
Yes, that's evident. Sorry.
You are the one "whining" about "personal attacks" and "trolls".
Go ahead, dish it out. I can ignore it just as easily as everything else.
Like you just did. LmAO!!
PS:
@jmski52 is not the one that significantly disrespected your virtual presence on this forum.
That was me. DOH !
You have not disrespected me in any way, but rather attempt to impose your misinformed opinion. Your attempts mayhave disrespected yourself though.
.
Your "kookiness" comment was specifically in the context of David Rogers Webb.
No it wasn't. It was a generalization. You know, the kind of thing you troll me about so frequently.
Show any post where I called any specific poster a "troll" or "stalker" or similar.
But I do dispute the motives and intellectual ability of some posters on this forum.
What "opinion" am I supposedly trying to "impose" ?
.
Everything any of us writes is an opinion, with the exception of notated facts (rarely do we see notations though). And its all imposed, otherwise we wouldn't write at all.

But not if they eminate from Kookeyville.
David Rogers Webb has more credentials and much more impressive financial experience than you will ever have, in spite of your constant self promotion and name dropping.
Try reading his book.
Credentials and experience do not exempt kookiness.

A "generalization" ?
No, the context is clearly in regards to that specific person (Webb).
But anyone looking at the quoted posts above can decide that for themselves, of course.
They can also decide if it is hypocritical for an anonymous spokesperson to disparage the credentials and experience of people that actually have some.
Hey coho, you do realize that the "folks" running your bank deposits and stock & bond portfolios have you as an unsecured creditor, don't you?
Coho, do you even realize that you are an unsecured creditor in any bank deposit, stock & bond portfolio, or even a hedge fund?
BTW, if you read David Rogers Webb's book, you might learn that his hedge fund went from $60 million to $1.3 billion in 3 years. Those are some of his credentials.
Further, when his fund had a large position in a loser company, he didn't frontrun his clients on the way out. He sold his own and his family's position last. In other words, he's an ethical money manager.
He's raising awareness about the inherent risks in the whole system in terms of the changes in the laws that make The Great Taking a likelihood, not just a probability.
As Jim Sinclair said, Get Out of the System. This affects you too. Why would you, or anyone ignore reality in this way?

You are comparing a single company (Meta) to an entire sector (financial). That is not a valid comparison since >there are always individual exceptions.
There is 1 billionaire running a bank in this country, Jamie Dimon. There are hundreds in the Tech Sector and dozens in Energy.
