2010 Red Book doesn't mention 2008-W reverse of 2007

Just got the 2010 Red Book, and am puzzled why they didn't list the 2008-W Silver Eagle with the reverse of 2007. It's a pretty well-established variety and has been known for at least a year now. Thoughts?

Alos noticed that the Red book dropped the American Arts Gold Medallions series 1 year after listing them.

Yeah, well it also says I can get a 2009-W Burnished for $28 and a 2009 W Proof for $45.

Guess we'll have to wait til next year for them to catch up.

Don't worry the 2009 doesn't mention the UHR (or list the 2008 Gold Buffalo fractionals) either. They print these things way too early IMO. I feel the 2009 should come out in 2010 and so forth. It would be a bit more accurate. I like the Red Book, but it's definitely not for the latest years of release. As other here have said, the auctions and e-Bay are the real price drivers.

Maybe Dentuck can answer that for us.

Revisiting this, since the Mint recently announced final mintage for the 2008-W at 436,702 and one of our forum members obtained information from the Mint last year that they believe 46,318 were struck with the reverse of 2007, is it then proper to do the math and say that 390,384 of the 2008-W's are with the regular 2008 reverse?
