Hi. I am doing an appraisal on an estate that has several Gallery Mint Museum issues, such as the 1796 10-piece set in both BU and Proof, the 1794 set in BU and Proof, and others such as the 17/994 dollar and some ANA convention strikes. The family is keeping the collection, so they are not for sale, but I need to know reasonable wholesale and retail prices.
Any help, or direction to a website that can help, will be appreciated.
Thanks,
TD

In terms of websites, there is Verne Walrafen's "Ron Landis' Workbench Scrapbook" which I know inside out, and often that can be supplemented by Verne's other site, the Original Hobo Nickel Society.
If it's first issue prices that you are after, then Clif Bolling's got the Archive of Gallery Mint Museum newsletters.
And if you've a flair for archived medals of the original production runs, then Dr. Lawrence Lee has some info there in his Closeout Sale of Gallery Mint Museum Items.
<< <i>I am surprised these have any numismatic value at all, beyond nominal souvenir value. >>
Well, if you could find one of the 100 minted 1998 One Concept pieces that Ken Bressett distributed in plush blue cases to promote his World Peace Coin Program you'd likely have to pay a pretty penny for it. It's basically a privately produced pattern piece, and the reverse design was a top runner up in the competition to come up with a new golden dollar. The hand engraved die work is stunning! And there are many other GMM produced items that would require strong premiums to possess.
Then again, some of the repro pieces are available at below issue price.
<< <i>Tell me what you have precisely and I'll tell you what they are worth, generally.

Did the op meant this?
1794 proof set
Stuff like that, but I think I finished that appraisal a long time ago…..
Just out of curiosity do you recalled what this was appraised at?
OLDTHREAD ALERT
If you haven't been able to finish your appraisal over the last 15 years I think your clients deserve a refund
@mikee999 What the heck? You really needed clarification about an estate appraisal from 15 years ago?
