Hitting it into the forest, bad putting, will we have to watch it for all 18 holes? I hope not.

Tiger made today an event. That was amazing the way he got back into contention. Without that bogey... woulda, coulda, shoulda.... That was great TV today.

Virtually all of Tuba Boy's threads are similarly ridiculous and/or asinine...we've come to expect as much from the Bandwagon Fan, LOL!!

Maybe. But say what you will about JS, at least he's just here for a good time and doesn't take it personal-- and that's a lot more than I can say for some of the regulars on these boards.

JMHO, but I don't think there are too many who take seriously anything that gets spouted on these boards...at least I hope not, LOL!!

yeah Tiger made it interesting alright, who needs straight putts and hitting the fairway? He plays like that at a real golf course with weather and ruff, he won't
    be playing past Friday!

I suppose you criticize Michael Jordan, Wayne Gretzky, Joe Montana and Lou Gehrig, too.

I only take it personal when people say bad things about my Phillies and Eagles.

  • My guess is that Kevin has never played a single sport in his life. Gotta love how he says Tiger won't be playing past Friday. I think he has missed 2 cuts in the last 10 years.

How many people actually watch golf on TV when Tiger isn't playing? What will the PGA do when Tiger decides to retire from teh tour?

if Tiger misses a cut, doesn't play, or doesn't play well, the TV ratings plummet. Many people who tune in to golf do so for the sole reason of seeing Tiger whip the competition. When Tiger doesn't play in a tournament, the tournament organizers struggle to sell tickets and attract corporate clients

I believe it - I have to also believe that the vast majority of Americans couldn't name a single player on the current PGA tour except for Tiger Woods.

Those battles between him and Albert Palmer were legendary.

I guess the good thing about championship golf is that no matter how much everyone was sucking (and they were Sunday) that someone has
to win. No one deserved to win Sunday, Cabrera was lucky to even be in the playoff. He could thank everyone else around him choking including
Phil and Tiger. The weather was perfect and the the course was in great shape, even the pine needles were groomed!

I can't wait to see these guys hacking out of 2 feet of rough at Turnberry! It will be a different story. It is a different mind set when you are playing
3 over golf than when you are stringing together a bunch of birdies in perfect weather and a nice course.

Everyone says what a great Masters this was, but I actually say the opposite, it wasn't, it was won by the guy who made the least mistakes. No one
stepped up and took this championship...heck guys couldn't even in a fairway!

Palmer and Jack would of swallowed these bozos whole back in the day!

You are just a contrarian joestalin. You are like my 4 year old daughter. Grow up. It was epic golf, Phil shot a 30 on the front 9 (which last I checked is pretty good), Tiger made my eagle and almost a second, and then it was a battle of attrition at the end. It was very exciting and I am not a huge golf fan.

Palmer and Jack were overrated. They lacked the competition of today's players. Not hard to win if you only have to be about 3 good players. Jack in his prime today would only be ranked 4th in the world right now.
