<< <i>K-Rod finds a way to get the job done, but it never seems to be an open and closed deal. Other than the save totals, his numbers aren't that good. >>
Very well said. Living in Los Angeles I watched alot of Angels games over the years and it always seemed like Krod struggled to almost every save. I hope the Mets and their fans don't mind all of the drama he creates and that their fielders are able to make some timely fielding to save his azz out there.

As you mentioned, getting the job done is all that matters. If he starts the 9th with a 3 run lead, gives up 2 runs and then gets 3 outs or starts with a 1 run lead and strikes out the first three batters, same results ... a WIN. Being a METS fan I have had a LOT of DRAMA in the 9th inning for many years, so it wouldn't be METS baseball if the 9th inning went 1 - 2 - 3.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
