Does anyone know what the idiot Marlins' plans are for Maybin this year? I thought he was penciled in to start, and now-- in the third f**king game of the season-- he's benched. This question has some serious fantasy implications for me, so if anyone has any news/views on this I would be grateful if you would share them, since I don't want a roster spot held down by a guy who's going to get 95 starts this year.

Maybin has worlds of talent but Florida has plenty of good young players. He isnt going to play every game; but i think he will be given the chance to start most days..if he doesnt produce they will sit him and go with a hotter hand.
The Marlins have an awesome young rotation...esp. josh johnson and Rickey Nolasco (who I own in every fantasy league im doing this year)
<< <i>i love how people panic after 3 games into the season.

'Panicking'? Uh, no. When Beltran goes on the 60 day DL I'll have a chance to show you what panicking looks like. As far as Maybin goes I picked him up in the 15th round, under the assumption that we was going to be starting. If the idea is go with him for 110 games or whatever then I need to ditch him and pick up another pitcher.
