Big reward missing for this thing called "runs." You see, we can't seem to find any and would appreciate any help.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
1 meaningless run in 18 innings

This is not funny.
That whole driving them in thing is over-rated anyways.

Shouldn't we as good sports fans be rooting for our opponent to do well in the spirit of sportsmanship?
Where hath the kindness and harmony gone on this board?
Yeah but will he know where to go? I mean in over 100 years he has only been there 1x.

I haven't heard so much hype since Diaz, Escobar, Agbayani, Wilson, Isringhausen and the rest of the minor league heroes in the Mets' system.
I've heard Murphy's swing compared to Don Mattingly, his desire and intensity to Paul O'Neill and his hitting approach to Pete Rose. HELLO!!! The kid doesn't even have 150 ML at bats and he's already being annointed as future Hall of Famer. Oh, those Mets fans!!!

Let me guess, the Yankees' 0-2 start has you feeling kind of ornery??

<< <i>[Most Mets fans are too busy providing oral services for Mr. Murphy to be happy about a 2-0 start.

Ornery? Why? I realize the last time a team started 0-2 and still went on to win the World Series was so long ago . . . like last season when the PHILLIES did it.
If the Yankees a skittering around .500 in July, then I'll start getting ornery, but then again, it will be time for football camp and there's always the Giants to look forward to...
