baseball is OK but I don't like the seasons that are just 1 sport at a time (a la july and august). at least the nba playoffs start next week!

You are completely insane. This is the best sports week of the year

    1 - The Masters (Thurs-Sun)
2 - The NCAA Basketball Championship game (Monday
3 - Baseball Opening Day and week (all week)
4 - The last week of the NHL Regular Season (all week)
5 - The NCAA Hockey Frozen Four (Thurs/Sat)
6 - The 2nd to last week of the NBA Regular Season (all week)
    7 - UEFA Champions League Quaterfinals (Tue/Wed)

Please tell me what other week is even close to as good as this one?

It all depends on what sports you like as for me...

NHL and NBA = no interest.

Baseball - OK but not my favorite, it has never translated to a great TV viewing experience, much better in person.

NFL draft - A fun couple of days

Kentucky Derby - a one day thing that might get more interesting if a triple crown possibility develops.

Masters - When I watch it I feel it is treated with such reverence that I am in church rather than a sporting event but it can be fun if it is close at the end and if Tiger is in the hunt - watch out..

For the most part I would rather be outside in the spring and summer rather than glued to the TV with sports but I will watch some
    that is for sure.

I am interested in the Master's. Hoping Nick Watney, from the SacTown area, can win the thing. We shall see....

Wow this is one of my favorite sporting times of the year along with spring breaking out. Both the Cubs and Sox are an hour to hour and half away, our minor league team has started playing, stadium is 5 mins away. The most storied program in college football is practicing 10 mins away (they will be good this year). Masters has begun, then the Indy 500 (2 hrs away). Already been out to the golf course 3 times this year. All in all it is quite boring. image

Edited to add: the Jay Cutler story has enthused the local fan base too. Now I know you are happy for that one sanction. image

The only interruption is that I have to fly out to Denver next month with the wife to meet her son's bride to be. image
