I am taking a road trip with the wife and kids.. from chicago.. to denver for a rockies game
then onto the grand canyon and vegas for a couple days...

in the spirit of diners drive ins and dives.. does anyone know any can't miss eats along the way?

    I haven't eaten there but I really want to eat at the Buckhorn in Denver. Lots of exotic menu items like alligator, rattlesnake, etc.

    Don't know the age of your kids but I took two teenagers to Vegas a few years ago and we had a blast...plenty of family related things to do. Ate a great family meal at the rainforest cafe inside the MGM.....

    I heard the Taco Bell in Denver is awesome.

    That sounds like a blast. Have a good time (especially in Vegas)
