1914 only MPL "Back of Neck" Diagnostic - either die state - Not in Book?

I've seen this before, but never heard of it in any of the texts. Look at the die striations radiating outward from the back of Lincoln's neck. It's on both of my 1914s, and no other dates as far as I can tell. Am I the only one who's noticed this?

I've got them on the back of the head, but not under the chin.
