Congrats to Jeff Gordon for his amazing win at Texas!

Congrats Jeff...You earned this one, and many more to come...I believe he has gained huge confidence this year, and it is going to carry him for his 5th Championship...He should have already won 6, but Nascar had to screw up the points system...Gordon is among the best in Nascar, and I would put him ahead of Dale Earnhardt as well...and close to Richard Petty

    I would have to agree with you on putting Jeff Gordon ahead of Dale Earnhardt.

    As for Richard Petty I think he is over rated his cars were the reason he won so many races. He always had
    the best cars if everyone drove the same cars with the same setup he had as they do now he would have
    only won half the races he did if not less. Also I believe that for awhile back then they were like racing twice a
    week could be wrong.

    its about time for his drought to be over, 2 or 3 more and hes what 4th in all time wins, go jeff

    Yup, looks like the team is finally clicking. Been in every race and hanging around the top 5. They're finally making the right adjustments during the race and actually much better to start each of them. Now if they can keep it going, they wont have to switch crew chiefs again and start this all over.

    As for the points thing, I hate the chase. Has screwed him in the past and it's already got me worried again this year.
