question on '71-'72 Topps Basketball

The set came with team "logo" stickers that were about 3/8" square. And, being 11 at the time, I dutifully stuck them on the Chamberlain, Robertson, Maravich, Frazier, Alcindor, etc. cards. And of course, I put all the stickers for a team on the stars' cards for that team. A couple of questions:

1. How much do the stickers devalue the card? I have read the PSA guidelines and don't see this in there.

2. Anybody know of a way to remove them without damaging the card? I tried peeling one off an undisclosed common card (no stars on that team) and the results were underwhelming. Anyone ever try steam? If so, steam from what?

Thanks as always for reading and BIG thanks for any help you may offer.

The team logo stickers were from the 1973-74 Topps Basketball set. The insert for 1971 were the Trio sticker cards. And any stickers attached to these cards devalues the card toless than 'O" unfortunatly.

Cape ... Sorry, but the values are probably minimal as compared to the cards w/o the stickers.
