Why I can't stand redemptions....

I have been waiting patiently for the last several months for this beauty serial #'d to /135

A package arrived in the mail today from Topps, they aren' t going to honor the redemption, so I got this....

    Thanks, but, uh...NO! In all honesty I was pretty dejected when I pulled the Dorsey redemption. This makes up for it.

    It is from donruss and they are better with redemptions. It is for a Dorsey auto from classics numbered to just 25. If you want Ill send in the code and
    see what happens. If it comes back Ill let you know.

    Last week I got a redemption for a 2007 Sweet Spot Dave Concepcion auto. I guess he didn't sign. They asked me to send an e-mail telling them what teams/players I collected.

    Should have by the end of the month. I'd be happy with a swap-out the caliber of yours.

    Redemptions suck, I sent out about 7 redemptions in February to Topps just before they expired. They sent me them back in late March stamped rejected/expired. I'm actually contemplating going with just Upper Deck for new stuff but I heard they weren't much better. I guess I'll have to see.

    Yep I am still waiting for some crummy duel auto from 08 Topps Co-singers, and they are going to be stickers. WTH?

    I hate redemptions as well . Maybe the card companies should start offering bonuses to those who can sign on time , on card ,
    and a extra big bonus if us collectors can actually read the autographs.

    Several years ago, Fleer replaced my Sweet Sigs redemptions of Brandon Inge and Jackson Melian (one was Lumber, one was Leather - I don't remember which) with GOTG autographs of Joe Carter and Maury Wills. I think it worked out all right for me.
