Mets new stadium has a "big apple" feature

Whenever a Mets player hits a home run a large apple will rise from an area just beyond center field.

(I am not making this up) Look for it on TV.

20 games into the season when the Apple has done nothing all season it will become active when Mets pitching throws the other team "big apples" to hit
out of the park. That way it will get plenty of use!

Based on this moronic statement, David Wright will only hit about 8 HR's the entire season, half of which you have to assume will be at home but none will be in the first 20 games.
