Bob, that is the reaction I had when I first saw it. I'm glad to say there are some wonderful and generous fellow collectors out there, and I'm proud to have the opportunity to own this one.
The photos still do not fully capture the coin, but they were reasonably close for me to post. I don't know how you guys photograph color all of the time. It is extremely difficult. The green on this coin is a watery emerald color. It's like having a Tru-View photograph come to life in your hand if you know what I mean.
I don't think any photo could improve on what you've done. I haven't seen the coin in hand, but I'd say you nailed it! I don't know what grade your 1913 is but I can't imagine one out there that comes close to this one. I'm ga-ga over it.
