I remember buying the Fleer back in the day ... paid around TEN BUCKS EACH back then!!!! GEESH!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
I knew HoJo went 30-30 in his career. But I didn't realize he did it THREE (3) TIMES, to wit:
1. 1987 - 36 HRs and 32 SBs; 2. 1989 - 36 HRs and 41 SBs; and 3. 1991 - 34 HRs and 38 SBs.
Certainly impressive then and I have to say even more so now. A very nice career for HoJo, especially with TWO World Series wins. WOW. I knew about the 1986 Mets, but HoJo was also on the 1984 Tigers. I did not know that. Very cool indeed.
He may have allegedly been like Norm Cash who used corked bats throughout his .361 season in 1961. take a look at his batting averages after that season.
In the USA all men are created equal but some are more equal than others....

HoJo made Knight's stats look minor (as in Minor League)! Especially in a Mets uniform! (not even close!)...
I did like Ray Knight too! (he was cool!)
