My Fiance' made her first PO01 Peace dollar. UPDATE...She does it again!

Wanda's lowball peace dollar set is a very difficult work in progress and she tries real hard to find the most worn out coins. She just fell in love with this set. Check out the Trueview on the 1922!

The darn thing has a corbon spot though...I tried to "Rub it out with my thumb" image

    And it didn't get a 'Genuine' grade for "Altered Surface"? image

    Wow, Wanda's got a nice set.......and the coins aren't bad either! image

    Sure looks PO01 but in my experience, determining the MM (or lack therein) has been the challange....and this coin looks worn enough that I wonder how PCGS made the determination that its a "P". I made both of the other 2 in the pops.....

    So we (I) have a friend in town that just joined the PCGS Family and offered to send in one of Wanda's peace dollars (For the free quarterly submission) she has been carrying around in her pocket (And or purse) for a while and this 1924 came back in a PO01. She wanted the Truview, but I actually thought it was a FR02.

    What do I know! image I will listen to her from now on.
