Sweet find (or maybe Sweetness find)

I was at a used bookstore yesterday, and found a bunch of cool stuff.
I had already gone through the sci-fi section, and picked out a Robert Heinlein and 3 Jack Vance novels (all in paperback) I didn't have (I collect works by my favorite authors - Jack Vance is very difficult to find, because people don't seem to get rid of his books.), as well as 2 Ray Bradbury paperbacks that I hope to get signed.
His sports section didn't look really promising, because it was mostly running, tennis, and golf, but I picked up a hardback The Artful Dodger (Tommy Lasorda's autobiography) for $2, which I hope to get signed.
Luckily for me, I took out a stack of sideways coffee table books to see what the magazines under them were. They were a bunch of old NFL PRO magazines/game programs from the 1970s.
I figured I'd get them if they were $2 each or less. I asked the guy behind the counter, and he said magazines were 50 cents apiece, so I got them. There were 4 Bears programs from the '70s (Bears v. Lions, Bears v. Saints preseason game, Bears v. Cowboys, and Bears v. Vikings), 4 Browns programs from '79 and '80 (2 Browns v. Bengals from different years, Browns v. Oilers, and Browns v. Packers preseason game), and 2 Minnesota Vikings programs from the '70s (Vikings v. Giants and Vikings v. 49ers).
I didn't notice the great part until after I had left - all of the programs were autographed on the pictorial roster pages.

3 of the Bears programs (all but the Bears/Vikings) are signed by Walter Payton!

The Bears/Cowboys program is also signed by about 20 others, including Harvey Martin, Tony Dorsett, Danny White, and Drew Pearson.

The Bears/Saints program also has Jack Pardee's, Archie Manning's and Chuck Muncie's signatures, along with about 40 other players and coaches.

The Bears/Lions program has about 25 other signatures on it, including Al Baker and Alan Page.

The Bears/Vikings program only has 14 signatures, but it does include Bud Grant and Gary Fencik.

Neither of the Browns/Bengals programs has more than a dozen signatures, but both of them are signed by Brian Sipe and Clay Matthews, and Ken Anderson, Joe DeLamellieure, and Max Montoya each signed one of those programs.

The Browns/Oilers program only has 7 signatures, but Ozzie Newsome and Clay Matthews are among them.

The Browns/Packers program has over 30 signatures, including Sipe, Matthews, Lyle Alzado, and Lynn Dickey.

The Vikings/49ers program has 23 signatures on it, including Jim Plunkett, Gene Washington, Randy Cross, Mick Tinglehoff, Ron Yary, and Jim Marshall.

The Vikings/Giants program has 29 signatures on it, including Tommy Kramer, Yary, Marshall, Paul Krause, April Fools, Brad Van Pelt, and George Martin.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

Nick, the best Sci Fi book ever written is Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card. Have you read it?

I've read Ender's Game and a couple others of Card's works, but he's not among my favorites. The ones I collect are Heinlein, Clarke, Vance, Asimov, Bradbury, Sturgeon, and Poul Anderson.
