The Baht is the currency of Thailand, but is also the unit of measure common to southeast Asian metals trading. A Baht is equal to about a 1/2 ounce. These are 23k 10-baht bars. Not mine, currently for sale on eBay. Cool or not cool?
We are like children who look at print and see a serpent in the last letter but one, and a sword in the last.

<< <i>I'd like them if they were 999 and said the weight/purity/material in English. >>
But isn't that part of their "charm", or coolness? Truth be told, I don't trust this seller. But that is a legit mfg of gold baht bars, whether these are genuine or not.

<< <i>I like them and own some Thai Baht jewelry. They won't be as liquid as 1 ounce coins but that also means you should get them for a lower premium. >>
Here's my baht chain. 24k, custom made for me by Vietnamese jewelers four years ago next Wednesday. The gold was from a kilo bar. I paid $1120 delivered. Not a bad return on investment!

Not for me
Hey Weiss, what did you do with the other 937.7 grams from the donor bar?

You'll have to ask the jewelers. They said they typically use maple leafs, but they had a kilo bar they'd been drawing off of during this period of time.
