As a UMass fan and coach Cal fan from way back, I think you'll enjoy your five years of coach Cal. Should take you to at least one final four...of course his UMass program that I loved was reputedly one of the dirtiest in all of college basketball. Marcus Camby won't even answer questions about his college career.
I checked my crystal ball. It said that Kentucky wins the national title in 2012. In 2014 it is hit with NCAA sanctions for recruiting violations and only wins 12 games in 2015.

Anyhoo, isn't it ironic that the guy who is now our new coach is the same one we had to beat in 1996 (against UMass) to win the championship with one of the best teams ever in college b-ball history (the Untouchables)? I'd say he knows in more ways than one what it's like to coach an elite program; he's seen both sides of it.
Let's see name two of the four teams that had their final four appearances wiped off the record book by the NCAA? I'll name two, the Fab Five team from Meatchicken and Calimari's Camby's almost champs from UMass. .

You do realize that Calipari did nothing wrong, right?
You guys paid more for him than we did with Saban. Saban has been worth the money so far, best of luck to you guys. Anthony Grant will be hanging two losses a on the Wildcats next year! OK, maybe not, but they maybe close games til the end of the first half
For 8 years/$35M he'd better be hanging plenty of big blue banners (the ones that commerate Final Four appearances) and bring home the gold trophy (the one the NCAA gives to the National champs), or else!!
Nice-- the sleaziest coach in NCAA hoops this side of Jim Harrick is now paired up with the NCAA's sleaziest basketball program. Two entities which definitely deserve each other.
I like Kentucky, it's the new coach I am knocking == As a UMass alum (from the Calipari era) I have seen firsthand his methods. If you lay down with dogs you'll get fleas.

With Perry Stephenson, Ramon Harris, and Darius Miller coming off the bench, that is a top ten team right there.
Edited to say, the more I think about it, that might be a top five team.
