My friends, post a 1947 coin

UtahCoinUtahCoin Posts: 5,345 ✭✭✭✭✭
Yesterday was a day that could best be described as the old Clint Eastwood movie; The Good, The Bad and the Ugly.

The good, my wife and I celebrated our anniversary
The Bad, my sister passed away
The Ugly, Tremendous hail storm damaged all 3 of our vehicles.

My sister lost her fight against cancer. Her only son (my only nephew) died of cancer 18 months ago.

My folks, dad 90, mom 83, are having a very tough time with this. A parent should not have to bury a child and a grandchild.

Mindy, my sister was born in 1947, so if you have a coin from then and would like to post it, please do.

Sorry to hear of your loss. Perhaps this will in some small way help...

Ouch! I've had a six month period similar to your day, but not a single day. That's tough. Your family is in our prayers Wes. No 1947 to share.

    I don't have a single coin from 1947.

But I didn't want that to stop me from saying that I
am very sorry to hear about your sister.
