1938 Sawyer Biscuit Chicago White Sox Frank Gable in Frame

1938 Sawyer Biscuit
Frank Gabler (Chicago White Sox)

I have heard that these are very rare, especially in good condition, and in the original burgundy/maroon frame.
Several people said this could easily be worth $1500 or more, in this condition (~NM-MT)
Any idea on value? Anyone interested?

Here is the information I found in the SCD:

In the late 1930's, a local baker ran a promotion by which fans could redeem a coupon found in the product along with a dime for a matted black-and-white portrait photo of a favorite Chicago ballplayer.
The photo was delivery in a thick textured maroon frame about 4-3/4" x 5-3/4" in size which had a punch-out stand on back.
The Sawyer Company name is not found on the actual photo, but is seen on the envelope and cover letter which are sometimes found with the pictures.

Hope that helps.
