My first post and a question about autographs

Hello- I've been collecting cards since the 1960's on and off, but only started collecting autographs this year. I've gotten three responses TTM so far and I can see how addicting it can be. I'm going to work on Pittsburgh Pirate World Series teams and first African American players for each MLB team. I appreciate all of the information here. Has any one done business with Clean Sweep auctions out of New York? I picked up their catalog at the Philly Show and it has some autographs that look interesting. Also, any advice on getting some Pirate autographs would be appreciated. I did join SCN. Thanks for any advice. Dave

If there is a problem with an item he (Verkman) has been known to blow off his customers.

Edit: Welcome to the forums!
I'm not an expert on autographs but several here are quite knowledgeable and have threads about their experiences TTM. There is a gentleman on the SGC board who has an extensive collection of vintage autos, perhaps he too could assist you.

Not that there is anything wrong with that.

I've had probably 10+/- problem-free transactions with Clean Sweep, but I have heard some bad stories as well.

Don't waste your time and fees listing on ebay before getting in touch me by PM or at gregmo32@aol.com !

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
