Otherwise, this is sad news.
<< <i>The only thing the list left off was the Denomination of each coin!
Otherwise, this is sad news.
The denomination is there.
It sucks that they also got robbed for $5K+ in CASH. You know they will never see that again, but hopefully the will be able to recover the coins........

<< <i>that's sad... maybe need to ramp up security at that show??? >>
From my understanding, there was no security at this show, and the dealer who got robbed got "tasered".
Now, my shows have security. Its expensive but I would rather pay to protect the dealers and the general public than pay dearly when word gets around that my show is an easy place to rob and steal.

Don't forget Wisconsin, too.
I am one of those who is in favor of concealed carry for law-biding citizens like me.
<< <i>Why would the criminals use Tasers though? >>
Might they be easier to purchase and be legal to carry in some places.

Giving Chicago gangsters a bad name though. What happened to the Tommy Guns of Al Capone lore?

Ever heard the company called Cash4Gold? They are the new crooks in town..

Duh, because guns are illegal.
Also, much less likely you'll be facing a murder or attempted murder charge if you subdue your victim with a taser rather than a gun.

BTW, I may come to the MV show next month. I've honestly never been to a coin show. I see Eugene Wooldridge will be there. He's my local B&M guy. A great guy!

The real reason is Tasers make no noise and won't draw attention like a gun shot would.

I hope so, too.
Gene is definitely one of the "good guys" in southern Illinois. The show is 2 tables shy of sold out.
