    It just goes to show that quality MPL's continue to advance toward the stratosphere. When one looks at the weekly list, now over 90 MPL’s available, how many are really PQ?

    I have to admit that given the cureent matte climate, 67RD's seem WAY undervalued (in general) by the price guide.
  • High end specimen + registry need = top prices.

    IMHO, the demand side of the MPL equation is clearly saturated by the heavy supply, so we have been seeing many nice pieces go for below book. But this 1913 was obviously a perfectly timed sale.

    I thought the estimates for this coin were higher than what it closed for? Where were the big bidders?

    Maybe it's time to sell my 1913 PR66RD since it might bring $20k?
