Schilling before Walker but I think neither should get in. I just don't think Walker is borderline. If he gets in then why not Garvey who put up more consistent numbers in a much tougher time period for hitters!? NO way for Walker.

Walker is far superior to Garvey. I just looked up both stats. Walker hit 20 points higher for his entire career...and as much as COL was a hitters park, Montreal was just the opposite. It all balances out. Walker was one of the 5-10 best players in the game from 92-02. Garvey was never one of the best 10 players in the league for that long of a stretch. For 5 years, maybe.

Why don't we concentrate on Blyleven first.

How about we throw out all the borderline players before adding anyone else.

Neither Schilling nor Walker were borderline. Both are Hall of Famers. You want to talk about Rizzuto, Mazeroski etc. that's fine, but based on stats and the eras they played in, both are Hall of Famers.
